Celebrate Summer in the Southwest Puget Sound Region: Your Guide to July 4th Festivities!
The 4th of July 2024 marks the official whistle-blower for summer fun, and the Southwest Puget Sound region knows how to throw a party! From fireworks to parades, car shows, festivals, carnivals, and free outdoor concerts, there's something for everyone. Here are a few of the must-attend celebrations happening in the area, with some events kicking off as early as this week! 
Port Orchard’s Fathoms O’ Fun Festival 
Join the festivities at Port Orchard’s Fathoms O’ Fun Festival for a parade, live bands, food vendors, and more! Various bands will perform between 4-10pm at Marina Park Gazebo. Enjoy food, craft, and commercial vendors, with fireworks over Sinclair Inlet scheduled for July 6th. 
- Concert: Thursday, June 27 
- Parade, Summer Festival & Vendor Show Craft Show: Saturday, June 29 & Sunday, June 30 
- Fireworks: Saturday, July 6 
- Cost: FREE 
Bremerton Bridge Blast at the Louise Mentor Boardwalk
A two-day festival in Bremerton with live music, 60 food vendors, and activities. Don’t miss the spectacular fireworks show on Saturday night! 
 - Dates: Saturday, June 29 (11am-10pm) & Sunday, June 30 (11am-5pm) 
- Fireworks Show: Saturday, June 29 at 10:15pm - Cost: FREE 
Joint Base Louis McChord (JBLM) Freedom Fest 
After a several-year hiatus, JBLM Freedom Fest is back! Enjoy a car show, live performances, a carnival, and fireworks. The event will be held at Memorial Stadium and surrounding areas and is open to the public. 
 - Date: Saturday, June 29 
- Time: 11:00am–11:00pm 
- Cost: Free; fee for carnival tickets 
Red, White & Kaboom: Puyallup’s 3rd & 4th of July Celebration 
Join Puyallup’s two-day celebration with live music, a beer garden, food trucks, and fireworks on July 3rd, followed by a car show, market vendors, and more live music on July 4th. 
 - Wednesday, July 3: 5:30pm–10:30pm (fireworks at dusk) 
- Thursday, July 4: 12:00pm-6:30pm 
Tacoma’s 4th of July Summer Blast 
Head to Dune Peninsula and Cummings Park along Ruston Way Waterfront in Tacoma for 150 vendors, two stages, and a 20-minute fireworks display to cap off the night. 
 - Date: Thursday, July 4 - Time: 12:00pm to 10:30pm 
- Cost: FREE 
Steilacoom’s 4th of July Parade & Fireworks 
Enjoy a kid’s bike parade, street fair, live music, a beer garden, and a variety of vendors in Steilacoom, ending with fireworks over Puget Sound. 
 - Date: Thursday, July 4 
- Time: 11am-10:45pm 
- Cost: FREE 
Grand Old 4th of July on Bainbridge Island 
Celebrate with Bainbridge Island’s overlapping events, including a pancake breakfast, fun run, car show, street fair, kid’s zone, beer & wine garden, live music stage, and parade. 
- Date: Thursday, July 4 - Time: 7am until 5pm 
- Cost: FREE
